Well, pay attention! Buying a refillable pen and notebook is an ordinary but rather useful purchase which makes you feel you have finally grown up since you will no longer throw away disposable pens every other two weeks. 🌍

What is a refillable pen? It is quite easy – an eternal pen which you can refill whenever it runs out of ink. Sounds quite obvious, doesn’t it? Try using Pilot G2 pens. They are available everywhere, the refills cost almost nothing and there are lots of different variants to choose from. If you need something more luxurious and elegant, get a Pentel EnerGel pen. It is incredibly smooth and fast. This is crucial since your teacher speaks very fast and you have to keep up with him.

Now let us talk about notebooks. The best part of the story is coming. Refillable notebooks exist in different formats like Rocketbooks or disc-bound ones. They allow taking out pages, putting them where you need and reusing them. You can write down everything, scan your notes to your phone in order to create a digital copy, wipe the page with a damp towel and use it all over again. You will not have to buy 5 notebooks per each semester which will remain unopened in your locker. There is a nice system called Arc Notebook System by Staples, it is cheap and efficient. It allows punching in any paper you want to add to your notebook. 📓

So, here is what I suggest you to do. Get one Pilot G2 pen with 0.7 mm tip. It is just perfect, it is neither too thick nor scratchy. Buy a pack of 3 refills either online or in Target stores. Also, get a disc-bound notebook with about 60 pages. It costs about $20 which sounds quite expensive compared to the $2 notebook in the dollar store. However, you will not have to buy any other notebook for quite a long time and you will never be in a situation when your pen dies out on you during a test. ✍️

Also, buy a small pouch for your backpack to keep your pen and one refill. In this way you will not become that person who everybody borrows a pen from and forgets to give it back.
